Helen Maher, 90 passed away January 16, 2010 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Newark, she resided in Whippany before moving to Piscataway in 1981.
Helen was a chambermaid with the Governor Morris Inn in Morristown, NJ for almost twenty years. She was a member of the Piscataway Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Maher was predeceased by her husband Richard Maher who passed away in 1985. Surviving are her daughter, Katherine Gerber and her husband Jeffrey of Piscataway; her grandchildren Traci Sofield and her husband William, Patricia Bendix and Charles Gerber and his fiancée Elizabeth Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Katie Sofield, Gage Bendix and Gavin Bendix.
