John P. Maita, 82, passed away February 24, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Bayonne he resided there until moving to Piscataway in 1959.
Mr. Maita proudly served an enlistment in the United States Navy during WWII. He worked in research at the former Bell Labs.
John was predeceased by his daughter Joyce Ann who passed away in 1996. Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Mrs. Annette Maita; by his sisters Jeanette Marchetta, Frances Marchetta and Irene Ingenito and many nieces and nephews.
